What is GunZ: The Duel?

GunZ: The Duel is the official free-to-play Steam remaster of the legendary 2003 Korean third-person shooter — relaunched by Masangsoft on August 13, 2026 after a wishlist campaign that passed 200,000. Wall-run, dash and chain sword-cancels in the K-Style movement system that players spent two decades mastering on classic servers and private servers alike.   1. Install and claim your mail. Free on Steam — launch-window rewards land in your in-game mailbox through Oct 6.
  2. Drill dash basics. Double-tap movement with sword out; this replaces walking forever.
  3. Learn the butterfly. The jump-slash-block loop that is the heart of every duel.
  4. Add the slash shot. Cancel slashes into shotgun bursts — this is where damage comes from.

Are hacks or cheats a problem?
